Job Responsibilities : Under moderate direction, the Auto Litigation Claims Specialist II handles single and multi-party personal or commercial line claims of low to moderate exposure and complexity within specific limits of authority.

This role follows established protocols to ensure efficient and effective claims handling, delivering customer-centric claims service.

Basic Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree and 3 or more years of experience in Claims or InsuranceOR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree, and 3 or more years of experience in Claims or InsuranceOR Completion of the Zurich Claims Training Program and 3 or more years of experience in Claims or InsuranceOR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in Claims or InsuranceMust obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and productsProficiency in Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications : 3-5 years’ experience in Commercial Auto litigated claimsExperience handling bodily injury and litigated claimsExperience with uninsured and underinsured motorist coverageEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsSolid time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilitiesExperience collaborating in a team environment and building cross-functional working relationshipsProficiency in identifying and explaining complex financial and / or actuarial conceptsAbility to determine the scope and exposure for moderately complex claimsUnderstanding of the reserving process for indemnity and expense in analyzing the potential exposure of moderately complex claimsAbility to develop and execute a negotiation strategy and plan for resolutionSkill in identifying subtleties in customer / client and / or business partner interactionsAs an insurance company, Zurich is subject to 18 U.
