About the Role
The Digital Solution Consulting team is looking for an individual with expertise in Accounting and Financial Management / ERP systems who desires to work in a dynamic, client-centric environment.
As a Solution Consultant, you will demonstrate the value of Workday's platform as a comprehensive business decision-making solution to executives and business users within the office of the CFO.
In this role, you will leverage your accounting and finance knowledge, refine your polished presentation skills, and develop collaborative solution consulting capabilities to articulate and differentiate the value of Workday's Financial Management Solution- expanding the adoption of Software as a Service (SaaS) across Workday's current and prospective customers.
Workday Solution Consultants support decision-makers in the office of the CFO by providing core accounting expertise while leading interactive discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and presentations throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities include :
- Our Digital Solution Consulting teams are strategically partnered with the sales organization : responsible for building a compelling vision of the Workday (Financials) solution and differentiators as part of a value selling approach.
- You will be equipped to provide in-depth Financials product knowledge to the sales team and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Assist in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products / applications / solutions while showcasing the value of our solution.
- Provide consultation to prospective users and / or product capability assessment and validation
- Assist with responding to prospect Request for Proposals on an as needed basis.
- Ability to travel 30%.
Digital Presales will equip you with skills such as :
- Continue to develop domain expertise and experience in Accounting, Finance and cross ERP functions in diverse industries, geographies, and company scales
- Strong presentation skills - including focused software demonstration techniques, sales messaging and storytelling.
- Build upon your solutions skills by engaging with and presenting to various internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on the Chief Financial Office (CFO).
- Problem solving skills to address prospect concerns and requirements and craft creative solutions.
- Value based selling (value led approach) in a Presales / Sales Consulting environment.
- Strong technical and industry knowledge to assist with solutioning and problem solving.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, working across various lines and business and partners to achieve positive customer outcomes, to become a trusted advisor and team player both internally and externally.
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of work experience demonstrating proven initiative and committed results in a Finance / Accounting role- including accounting, audit, ERP implementations, FP&A, etc.
- 1+ years working with core accounting concepts (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management)
- 1+ years of experience working with enterprise-grade Financial Management / ERP solutions (e.g. Workday, Netsuite, Oracle, Infor, SAP, Sage Intacct, etc.)
Other Qualifications :
- Solution Consulting or implementation consulting experience with Financials business solutions a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (or a local equivalent experience) in Accounting or Finance.
- Business fluency in English; Additional languages is a plus
- Professional presentation experience preferred.
- 4+ years work experience in Finance / Accounting and a background in utilizing enterprise-grade ERP applications preferred.
- Ideal candidate will have experience working in various accounting and / or finance functions.
