Synerfac is seeking a Powder Coating Line Supervisor for our client in Newport News, VA. Our client is a leader in custom precision Sheetmetal manufacturing on the East Coast.
This Powder Coating Line Supervisor is a supervisory role that requires hands on work to troubleshoot and maintain the powder coating equipment with the help of personnel and / or vendors.
Responsibilities :
- Planning and staging area for production prior to shift beginning;
- Delegating tasks and making sure employees have tools needed;
- Monitor, record, and correct pretreatment chemical levels.
- Monitor and correct dry off and curing oven temperatures.
- Training and leading new and existing staff in preparation of sheet metal parts for coating;
- loading conveyor line effectively and efficiently; mechanical assembly;
- Work closely with management to troubleshoot processes, and to maximize performance and processes;
- Monitoring and requisitioning supplies and materials;
- Implementing and / or maintaining proper procedures, including Safety.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of automated paint line, powder coating line, or plating line experience
- 3+ years in Supervisory role
- Must be able to work OT
