Title : Production Scheduler
Department : Brewery Operations
Reports To : Brewery Operations Manager
Salary Range : $60,000-70,000
Description / Expectations : Jack’s Abby is seeking an organized and resourceful individual to join our team as a Production Scheduler.
Essential Duties
- Set brewhouse schedule based on established metrics, contract partner production requests, labor and equipment constraints
- Maintain regular communication with brewhouse management team to ensure alignment on schedule
- Record and maintain brewhouse schedule in production management software
- Coordinate with the Sales department to set schedules for specialty and seasonal batches to ensure production is completed in time for critical seasonal sales windows
- Handle daily tank workflow management, following established brand parameters
- Set batch level packaging splits based on established metrics and contract partner production requests, labor and equipment constraints
- Coordinate with the Packaging Team Management to finalize schedule according to available labor, minimizing out-of-stocks and driving reduced changeovers to help increase packaging line OEE
- Record and maintain packaging schedule in production management software
- Coordinate with the Operations Administrator to ensure products are available for planned shipment dates
- Communicates and coordinates any schedule changes to the necessary stakeholders in a timely manner
- Completes required Microstar reporting
- Requests keg fulfillments according to planned demand
- Places can orders with manufacturer according to demand
Job Requirements :
- 2-3 years logistics experience
- 2-3 years of production brewery experience
- Ability to remain organized in fast-paced high-pressure environments
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with all required ERP usage.
- Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled / refrigerated environment.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a high pressure environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Multilingual (English, Spanish and / or Portuguese) is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of the craft beer industry and appreciation of the culture that goes with it.
- Strong communication skills, both with management and fellow associates.
- Experience with Google suite and / or Microsoft office suite of applications.
