Rivier University’s Division of Business and Security Studies seeks a qualified, credentialed candidate for Operations Management and / or Project Management Instructor Adjunct Faculty.
Reporting to the Director of Graduate Business programs, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for providing operations management related courses with on-campus, face-to-face instruction at the undergraduate and / or graduate levels.
Responsibilities :
The successful candidate will join the core Business and Security Studies faculty in the education of students, with the following primary responsibilities :
- Assume teaching, advisement, and mentoring responsibilities for students in the traditional face-to-face teaching and learning model;
- Undergraduate two daytime class meetings per week. Graduate one daytime and / or evening class meeting per week;
- Participate in ongoing program growth and development, particularly with respect to the integration of technology throughout all program experiences; and
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, both in the division and throughout the University.
Qualifications (minimum requirements are listed) :
- Master's degree is required, a terminal degree in Operations Management and / or Project Management related or highly related field is preferred.
- These fields may include Operations and Quality Management, Project Management, Quantitative Process Improvements in Organizations, and Risk Management and Decision-Making;
- The successful candidate will have college-level teaching, academic program, and curriculum development experience; and
- The ability and willingness to support the mission of the University and to work collaboratively and collegially with departmental and institutional colleagues.
