Valleyview Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate and experienced Staff Development Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team.
As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care provided to our residents through comprehensive staff education and development.
Responsibilities :
Develop, implement, and evaluate staff orientation and training programs.
Conduct competency assessments and provide ongoing education to ensure staff proficiency.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify training needs and develop educational plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and documentation.
Serve as a resource for staff regarding clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities.
Qualifications :
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Alabama.
Minimum of three years of nursing experience in long-term care or geriatrics.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
Experience in developing and delivering educational programs.
