Job Description
Accountable for delivering leading Ambulatory Care & Operations practices for the health system across FHP markets of responsibility.
This may include the areas of Outpatient Clinics, Ambulatory services. Provides operational leadership, strategic development, market, and financial growth for the Ambulatory Services division.
Accountable for divisional goals, metrics, and targets. Partners with Chief Physician Officer and market leadership in the development and implementation of a strategic and operational plan for division and ensures that appropriate institutional strategies for patient-centered care are coordinated with clinical operations and programs.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategic OperationsProvides direction or assist in compiling business plans, participates in strategic initiative, and directs operations of OLOLPG.
Advises physicians and Assistant Vice Presidents on marketing, business development, program expansion and discontinuation of services.
Leads planning team to develop and implement the Physician Group's development plan. Ensures the plan is reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the Physician Group management infrastructure necessary to support practice management activities.
Resolves physician group service line problems related to staff, equipment, and system issues in an effort to improve service line efficiency and ensure the cost conscious utilization of all resources.
Fosters effective communication between clinic managers, directors, physicians and Physicians Group Leadership.Develops and manages annual department operating and capital budgets and monitors the economical use and procurement of personnel, equipment, and supplies.
Conducts network monthly financial reviews and attends monthly physician financial review meetingsProvides formal training to Managers, Directors and Administrators within the Physician Group through the design and implementation of a supervisory training program and an ongoing management training program geared toward the medical practice arena.
Coordinate various HR related activities with OLOL HR dept. Prepares performance appraisals, evaluate performance, and provide feedback to direct reports.
Identifies new products and services based on clients' needs, and assists clients in the development of ambulatory network strategies.
Develops and obtains approvals and sponsorship for change initiatives. Contributes to client retention efforts.Participate and manage acquisition and provider onboarding.
Support CEO, COO and the physician executive group in setting strategic direction regarding healthcare innovation in the ambulatory practice setting.
Collaboration and PartnershipCoordinates with hospital administration to build and maintain strong relationships based upon shared expectations and high quality service delivery.
Develops and maintains an ongoing relationship with the CEO of the hospital and senior management in order to influence strategy development.
Works closely with Medical Director of OLOL Physician Group and Medical Group Chief Physician Officer to accomplish organizational goals.
Develops and maintains relationships with clinic and hospital physicians. Collaborates with administration in network development activities including network marketing, practice acquisition, primary care physician recruiting, physician employment contracting, management services contracting, and operations management.
Keeps abreast of the latest legal, regulatory, and accreditation trends and requirements relating to the ambulatory business and ensures that all client strategies and activities comply.
Provides direction or assist in compiling business plans, participates in strategic initiative, and directs operations of Ambulatory services.
Advises physicians and staff on financials, operations, business development, program expansion and discontinuation of services, under the direction of the Market President and Chief Physician Officer.

Qualifications
Experience - 10 Years relevant Health Care Management, Business Management
Education - Master's Degree
