Job Summary :
Graveyard Field Tech / Equipment Operator is responsible for operating sweepers, floors scrubbers, pressure washers, industrial vacuums among other equipment as required to complete the job efficiently.
Full time graveyard position - (6pm - 2 : 30am)
Responsibilities
Must be able to carry up to 40lbs using proper OSHA lifting procedures
Load and unload equipment from vehicles and transport it accordingly
Must be able to safely drive and maneuver heavy equipment
Monitor equipment performance and adjust according as required to finish the task
Track the Preventative Maintenance schedule for the equipment and notify supervisors of any abnormalities or due dates.
Report equipment problems with detail information, such as but not limited to, where and when machinery was last used.
Clean equipment after each used and dispose of any collected scrap and / or waste.
Perform minor repairs as needed.
Able to remain focused, concentrated and aware of their surroundings despite multiple distractions.
Able to critically thing and work under pressure
Able to meet strict deadlines and schedules
Flexible and adaptable to work conditions varying by site, schedules changes and weather conditions.
Qualifications :
MUST HAVE DRIVER LICENSE !!
EDUCATION : High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE : One year experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules / signs, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
Knowledge of Heavy Equipment safety protocols and procedures
Hand, Eye coordination; Often Techs must be able to use all the controls on equipment
Must be able to operate heavy machinery
Ability to remain stationary in the seat or operating area of the equipment for prolonged periods
Problem-solving skills to diagnose issues with equipment
Strong oral communication skills to interact with other workers on the jobsite
Basic writing skills to accurately complete reports and other paperwork
Good noncommercial drivers license history to indicate a habit of safe driving
Ability to obtain Forklift Certification
Ability to multitask
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Ability to work weekends
