Position Overview : We are currently seeking a Middle School Social Studies Teacher for the 24-25 school year in vibrant Minneapolis.
This role requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about teaching social studies, fostering student engagement, and supporting academic growth.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement dynamic social studies lessons aligned with state standards.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and promotes critical thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support individual growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents / guardians to support student success.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Social Studies, Education, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Valid teaching license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous experience teaching social studies at the middle school level is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
