The Physician Operations Specialist manages the operational and administrative functions for the Client affiliated medical groups and Client Physician Partners in areas of recruitment, credentialing, contracting, on boarding, pay processing, status changes, benefit administration, leaves of absence and data integrity.
Collaborates with medical group leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met.
Manages and audits data, prepares and analyzes reports and provides feedback regarding outcomes. The Specialist maintains a high level of confidentiality in dealing with Physician Human Resources related matters and the ability to effectively communicate with various individuals, i.
e., physicians, providers, office staff, senior management, Client employees and vendors. The Specialist projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct and supports the mission and vision of the organization.
Required :
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Healthcare, Payroll, Human Resources or related field..
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and triage appropriately
Superior verbal and written skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across levels of the organization
Strong strategic and critical thinking skills to independently solve problems and develop solutions
Tech savvy and possesses a capability to quickly learn new applications
Strong customer relations focus and relationship building capabilities.
Independent self-starter; work independently within established guidelines and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred :
Finance or Payroll experience / background desired.
Experience with Client, Paylocity, and / or Ease systems
Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) experience
Microsoft Office Suite experience, including strong Excel skills
