Project Manager Commercial - Federal - Airport (+50M)
Your company
You'll be part of a well-known construction company firm located in Miami / Fort Lauderdale area, with projects in the 3 counties .
Specialized in Schools, Federal, Fire Stations, Commercial (Offices, Retail), Airport Programs, Industrial and Storage. Projects between 1M / +100M.
Responsibilities
Report significant issues in a timely manner to the Project Executive / SR PM / VP's and prepare Weekly / Bi-weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
Participate in reviewing, evaluating and organizing documentation related to the planning, site, design, construction, and contract management.
Evaluate approvals for all changes in project scope, budget and / or schedule.
Implement and maintain budget and schedule controls.
Supports with preconstruction and estimating throughout project
Responsible for all pay applications / Scheduling / Cost Controlling
Attend project-related meetings, capture minutes, and record situations, activities and commitments.
Qualifications
B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, related field and / or related construction experience.
5-15 years or more years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor in Educational, Federal, Airport, Industrial, Commercial, ground up / renovations.
To be successful you need to be able to read construction drawings, coordination, and be familiar with South Florida area subcontractor and vendor market.
Organizational, administrative, and communication skills are also crucial to the success of the role.
Procore, Bluebeam , or similar software's are important.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a package of up to $100,000 - 150,000 base (depending on seniority) plus benefits, performance bonus, allowances, and other perks.
