Business Intelligence Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst based on a hybrid basis in Indianapolis, IN. The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for acquiring and reporting data in a manner that supports the needs of business stakeholders.

While efforts are expected to be primarily focused on the needs of dormakaba Americas which includes US, Canada, Latin America, responsibilities will also align with the overall Global BI initiatives.

We are business partners who support the Americas enterprise of Accounting, FPA, Operations, HR, Sales, and Executive Leadership.

HIRING SALARY RANGE : Base Salary $85,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assist in developing, implementing and fine-tuning cloud data structures used within cloud-based systems and platforms.
• Intake reporting requirements, identify data sources, and acquire data to develop recurring or ad hoc reports.
• Assist in building reports and dashboards to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Support process improvement initiatives. Tasks may include process mapping, data collection, data analysis, facilitating meetings, etc.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative reporting and analysis for data-driven business decisions, and value-added actionable recommendations to boost performance and business programs.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Finance or related field
• Technical Experience in SAP and Power BI
• Experience designing and building data visualizations with MS Excel, Power BI, SAP Analytics for Cloud (SAC), or similar reporting tools

• Strong communication skills including verbal, written and presentation
• Customer focus mindset who anticipates business needs and collaborates across business disciplines with adaptability
• Comfortable in ambiguity and relentlessly resourceful, a business partner who works with a sense of urgency
• Manages complexity with decision quality and high level of accuracy with a proactive approach to learning new skills and tools

WHAT WE PREFER

• Experience in Accounting, Finance and / or SIOP manufacturing operations.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in cloud data warehouse architecture, modeling and visualization
