Cargomatic is seeking a Billing Manager to oversee all aspects of our billing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while leading a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments, enhancing the overall billing function.

Key Responsibilities :

• Leadership & Management : Lead and manage the billing department, fostering high performance and employee engagement.Mentor and train billing staff, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
• Billing Operations : Oversee the preparation and issuance of accurate and timely invoices.Ensure all billing activities comply with contract terms, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain robust billing systems, focusing on automation and integration with financial systems using EDI / RPA between Cargomatic and its subsidiaries and customers.

Financial Management : Monitor billing metrics and KPIs to identify trends and drive improvements.Collaborate with finance to reconcile billing with accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting for billing operations.Work closely with customer service and sales teams to promptly resolve billing disputes and inquiries.

Maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing billing concerns and ensuring high satisfaction.

Project Management : Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to improve billing processes, systems, and technologies.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, recommending and implementing innovative billing solutions.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in billing, finance, or accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in the logistics, transportation, or a related industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of billing systems, financial software, and database management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Experience with intercompany transactions is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Spanish proficiency is required.

The expected salary range for this role is $120,000 to $135,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
