If so, we want to hear from you! KQED is seeking a strategic and data-driven Marketing Campaigns & Media Manager to join our dynamic Marketing team.

Rebuilt only a year ago, the Marketing team is quickly evolving how KQED approaches connecting with audiences. In this role, you'll be the quarterback of our paid campaign efforts, leading the charge in acquiring and engaging audiences to drive growth of KQED’s channels and content.

While exceptional media buying and management skills are a top priority, we're also looking for someone who can wear multiple hats and contribute to the broader marketing strategy and manage multi-channel campaigns.

We help students and teachers thrive in 21st-century classrooms, and take people of all ages on journeys of exploration- exposing them to new people, places and ideas.

This role will work hybrid between working in KQED's newly renovated headquarters and working remotely. KQED requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Salary Information : $82,200-$102,700 Annually What You'll Do : Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns in partnership with agencies on goal setting, measurement methodology, creative development, media planning, promotions, campaign setup, reporting, etc.

Develop and manage data-driven paid media campaigns across digital (e.g. social, search, display, podcast, digital out of home, etc.

and traditional (e.g. out of home, TV, radio) channels to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic growth, app downloads, and brand awareness.

Manage external agencies by providing clear direction to ensure campaign alignment with KQED's goals, brand voice, audience strategy, and budgets.

Collaborate with internal teams (Audience, Product, Content, Creative, Revenue) to ensure a seamless user experience across all touchpoints and optimize campaigns for maximum return on investment (ROI).

Manage the Marketing team’s intern(s). Own project timelines and budgets for all campaign initiatives, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.

Drive learning by running A / B tests, formulating campaign methodology, spearheading campaign post mortems with actionable insights, and researching new marketing channels / technologies to drive audience growth and engagement.

Be an expert in KQED's audiences by working with our Audience Intelligence team to track campaign performance, identify user journeys, and develop audience segmentation strategies.

Additional projects including management of Search Engine Marketing (SEM), cross-promotions across KQED’s ecosystem of channels, and more.

We're looking for someone who has : 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and executing paid digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (programmatic, Google Ads, social, display, etc.

for both internal and agency-managed initiatives. Expert data analysis skills (Google Analytics, campaign measurement tools) with experience in incrementality testing and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Experience effectively managing and prioritizing a dynamic workload, ensuring all assigned projects stay on track, deadlines are met, and campaign objectives are achieved while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

A collaborative approach with exceptional communication (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively and present to both internal teams (technical and non-technical) and external agencies.

An ability to think strategically and manage complex projects and multi-channel campaigns from concept to completion. Strong familiarity with AdTech (website analytics, tagging, pixel tracking, mobile app measurement) and running campaigns on programmatic platforms (The Trade Desk, DSPs, Megaphone / Spotify, etc).

A willingness to roll up their sleeves and tackle any challenge to achieve campaign goals. We are a scrappy team that thrives on creative solutions and a "can-do" attitude.

A passion for KQED’s mission and a true desire to make a difference! Bonus points if you have : A solid understanding of marketing fundamentals (beyond media) including developing audience targets, creative and messaging development, etc.

Knowledge of traditional media platforms is a bonus but not required. Experience managing relationships with external creative and media agencies.
