Description :
Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and preventive maintenance of all bakery equipment.
Completes preventive maintenance tasks as assigned by the lead, troubleshoots and repairs as needed.

- Working safely using proper PPE equipment
- Communication with other departments
- Order parts using generated PO numbers from Monkey Media
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems
- Delegate tasks to crew utilizing their respective skills
- Ability to monitor building and facility operations, and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Refrigeration. Willingness to understand standard refrigeration systems, ability to use hand and power tools to perform standard repairs (i.
e. filters, motors, fans and belts)
- Electrical. Ability to assist with maintaining, altering and repairing electrical equipment.
- Fabricating. Ability to perform welding and soldering as needed in the repair, altering or replacement of equipment
- Ability to comprehend technical manuals and schematics
- Respond to daily equipment trouble, troubleshoot and repair
- Adhere to food safety guidelines HACCP and GFSI
Requirements :
- Experience in a food manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Electrical and 3 phase power knowledge, welding, refrigeration and plumbing
- Must be able to read and write English proficiently. Bi-lingual Vietnamese or Spanish preferred, but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Physical Requirements : Standing 90% of shift, walking 75% of shift, repetitive motion (bending, pushing, twisting, hand movements and wrist movements), lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
