A Surveyor / Cad Tech position in Charlotte, NC is available at Garney Construction. You will oversee surveying for our Mid-South Region.
To Thrive in this position, you must be proficient with survey equipment and AutoCAD or Carlson.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Using AutoCAD to determine layout points
- Using total station and / or GPS rover to layout work for field crews
- Recording as-builts and maintaining as-built drawings
- Learn to fly a drone and use Drone Deploy
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Must be able to read and interpret contract drawings
- Must have experience using AutoCAD, total station, and GPS rover
- 1+ years experience surveying
- PLS not required
- Regional Travel or Relocation may be required
