Join the Dillard's Central Division Advertising and Sales Promotion Department in Little Rock, Arkansas, for a dynamic role in a fast-paced buying office environment.
We are seeking a fashion-conscious individual with strong creativity and collaboration skills to work closely with the buying staff and the Creative Director.
Candidates should possess a high degree of creativity with a focus on achieving results in a fast-paced retail marketing environment along with the capacity to maintain flexibility, prioritize work and pivot quickly to alternate projects when needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating marketing ideas between the buying staff and the advertising department, designing advertising materials, supporting store promotions and working alongside the Director of Special Events on major projects.
In all aspects of the position, excellent attention to detail, prioritization skills and effective communication abilities are essential.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with buying staff on advertising requests and submissions.
- Effectively submit marketing ideas through our internal marketing systems.
- Design and create advertising materials and engaging newsletters.
- Write and proofread text of print advertisements.
- Work closely with the Special Events Director to assist with large events.
- Speak clearly and effectively for internal video messaging and occasional on-air segments to promote Dillard’s fashions.
- Assist with other department duties including data entry, recaps, office organization and more.
