Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Summary

Responsible for leading the Financial Planning and Analysis function within the organization, including a team of dedicated finance and business intelligence professionals who engage with business leaders to align business direction with corporate profitability.

The position plays a critical role in providing strategic financial insights, forecasting future performance, and supporting decision-making processes.

Pay Range : $165,621.11 - $223,588.49 - $281,555.88

Pay Range : Local Minimum Wage - $0.00 - $0.00

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop and oversee the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across all areas of the Bank.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, and identify variance and trends.
• Collaborate with business units to develop key performance indicators and metrics to track performance.
• Support the development of business cases of new initiatives and investments.
• Lead the development of annual operating budget and long-range financial plans for the Bank.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
• Coordinate with the Strategic Planning, Capital Planning & Stress Testing, and other functions within Finance to support the budgeting, forecasting, and stress testing processes
• Responsible for talent management functions including employment, performance evaluations, staff development / training, disciplinary actions, succession planning and ensuring all staff comply with compliance requirements.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.

Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications :

• Education level required : Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum experience required : 12+ Years progressive experience in financial planning and analysis capital management in Financial Services industry.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Education level preferred : Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent) Finance or Accounting.
• CPA preferred.

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear and actionable insights.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning software
• Demonstrated leadership ability and team management skills.
• Physical demands (ADA) : No unusual physical exertion is involved.
