Learning Specialist

Key Role :

Designs, implements, and evaluates an organization's learning courses and programs. Applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge.

Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications :

1+ year of experience with supporting dispersed client organizations in the federal or private sector

Experience with technical editing, grammar, and writing for instruction and client reports

Experience with adult learning theory and instructional technologies

Experience with using eLearning development software, such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate

Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards

Experience with Microsoft Office, including Sharepoint

Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications :

Experience with eLearning technologies, including webinar platforms, or Learning Management Systems

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Possession of excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or Instructional Technology

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
