CTR Group is seeking an Application Engineer in Albuquerque, NM It is preferred that the candidate lives in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Montana and near a major airport.
This position requires up to 50% travel throughout the entire US and Canada.

SUMMARY :
The Application Engineer will be in charge of Sales for projects involving electrical power industry products within the US and Canada.
Will support customers and Excitation projects in the assigned region and be in charge of forming and maintaining relationships with customers in the utility and power generation industries.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Technical discipline. BSEE preferred.
- 3+ years of Technical Sales experience
- Experience with 3 phase power relating to the Power Generation market is required.
- Knowledge of Electrical Power Industry a plus
- Experience with Excitation projects or rotating equipment strongly preferred
- Experience with capital projects or custom projects that have a long sales cycle would be nice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office and CRM proficiency
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
