Job Overview
You’ll be working as a Billing Supervisor in Irvine, overseeing a team responsible for processing medical claims. The position involves leadership, managing billing procedures, and ensuring accuracy in billing operations.
Work Hours
Monday to Friday : 9 am 6 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Billing Department :
- Ensure all medical claims are processed accurately and on time.
- Manage the billing staff, offer guidance, and conduct annual performance reviews.
- Develop and Implement Procedures :
- Create and enforce billing procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable :
- Keep an eye on outstanding invoices and resolve any discrepancies or issues with billing.
- Collaborate with Other Departments :
- Work with other teams to make billing processes smoother and more efficient.
Qualifications
- Experience :
- At least 5 years of experience as a Billing Supervisor.
- Previous experience in billing for a pharmacy and home healthcare company is required. Experience with infusion billing is a plus.
- Skills :
- Proficiency in billing software and medical coding is essential.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities are necessary.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills are crucial.
