Patagon Search () has a HYBRID (3 days in, 2 days out) role in Downtown Miami with our client in the healthcare insurance technology space.
They in a rapid growth phase, as they have been since their founding.
Through their technology platform they offer independent insurance agents the opportunity to access 20+ top-notch healthcare products via development of customized packages that meet end user needs.
Additionally, they offer administrative services that enable agents to onboard and sell via their platform in a time saving manner.
The Role
The Operations Coordinator will support the Operations department in the daily management of the enrollment management platform.
As an operations team member, you will lead the eligibility process, assist with commission calculations and reconciliation, be responsible for system data accuracy, and remediate system issues.
You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with every team member and effectuate significant change for the company.
Responsibilities :
- Own the eligibility process - partnering with carriers in reviewing daily eligibility transmissions and correcting / troubleshooting inconsistencies and errors
- Partner cross-functionally with customer support and fulfillment functions to review daily systems issues
- Assist in the daily import of business critical data and ensure that any import errors are resolved in a timely fashion.
- Execute Quality Assurance protocol - be the first to test and troubleshoot new features and issues
- Assist in commissions processing and new agency setup within system
- Complete daily and weekly monitoring and reporting of system and remediate any issues
- Participate in special projects in support of the associate of operations, including product configurations, integration builds, and system updates
- Conduct root cause analysis on system failures or areas for improvement; develop and implement solutions under the supervision of the director of operations
- Partner with software developers to shape the trajectory of platform's functionality
Candidate Profile :
The ideal candidate is an operational go-getter with a strong level of comfort in learning and functioning within an enrollment system that drives business and a growth mindset.
The candidate should be looking to learn industry fundamentals fundamentals (Insurance + Technology) and is eager to take on any and all new accountabilities.
The individual must be comfortable working with large datasets, mapping / executing data imports, and, as necessary, correcting issues on a one-by-one basis through data entry.
The ideal Operations coordinator does not leave an email unreturned or call unanswered, is able to quickly learn how the system works and will be a subject matter expert on the platform within 60 days.

Beyond these characteristics, here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this role :
- Bachelor's required
- Minimum of 1-3 years in operations, information technology, or general healthcare / legal administrative experience
- 1+ years of insurance industry experience preferred
- Comfortable developing advanced skills within industry-specific PSA tool (Administration123)
- Advanced / Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Comfort in managing large datasets, conducting data imports, utilizing SFTP transfer protocols
- Experience managing multiple ongoing priorities in a compliance-focused environment
- Project Management background a plus
- Strong Communications + Organizational Skills
