Job Description : AVINA Clean Hydrogen is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead the development and implementation of hydrogen / ammonia and derivative fuel projects.

This position will play a critical role in our next growth phase, driving forward the engineering, construction, and commissioning processes using renewable resources for green hydrogen and clean fuel projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the development and execution of hydrogen and clean fuel infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of hydrogen / ammonia production, storage, and distribution systems.
• Coordinate activities with internal project / engineering teams and external FEED / EPC contractors.
• Interface with permitting agencies, contractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Engage with renewable energy companies and power grids to secure project input power.
• Collaborate with county officials to secure water supply for projects.
• Negotiate and coordinate with technology suppliers, including electrolyzer, storage, and compression companies.
• Manage project schedules, resolve issues, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Assist in developing project financial models, budgetary estimates, and proposals in response to RFPs.

Required Qualifications :

• BS or MS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the energy sector.
• Proven track record of managing capital projects exceeding USD 25 million.
• Experience with new technologies in the renewable energy or hydrogen sector.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deliverables and timelines.
• Proficiency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and MS Project.

Preferred Experience :

• Background in oil & gas sector project management.
• Experience with hydrogen, ammonia, or SAF development projects.
• Ability to travel 100% of the time to deployment locations as required.
