General Function
The primary function of the Program Coordinator - Student Grants is to support the mission of the Financial Aid Office by coordinating the application and process for the State Childcare Assistance, Finish Line Grant, Student Emergency Grant, Student Relief Grant, and all other Emergency Grant initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates the implementation, oversight, and reporting processes of student grants, including the State Childcare Assistance, Finish Line Grant, Student Emergency Grant, Student Relief Grant, and all other Emergency Grant initiatives.
- Supports students through the various emergency grant application processes, including providing consultations, as needed, with a priority placed on timeliness and process efficiencies.
- Develops and implements communication for ensuring that students, faculty, and staff who need student grants know how to access them or refer students.
- Uses college student database systems to confirm accuracy of the application data for student grants.
- Screens all student grant applicants to ensure applicable criteria is met.
- Communicates with students regarding the status of their emergency grant applications.
- Ensures that follow-up with students occurs regarding referrals and outcomes.
- Utilizes advanced project management skills to conduct complex program data analyses, generate analytical reports, and interpret dashboards for managerial decision-making.
- Manages students grant components according to required governmental regulations.
- Coordinates the assessment activities for student grants, including setting goals and priorities, clarifying policy, and developing internal control procedures.
- Reconciles student grant files to ensure institutional compliance and to demonstrate administrative capability as required by regulations.
Monitors adjustments, document scans, system performance.
- Creates financial education materials for students.
- Provides financial education resources and programs for students.
- Ensures that the Federal regulations are being followed and met.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Business, Accounting, or related field and at least 1 to 2 year or related work experience.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of CPCC enrollment processes and requirements
