Start your journey with Blue Compass RV as we are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join our team.The Role : The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for all dealership employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

This role involves managing employee data, calculating wages, and preparing payroll reports. The Payroll Clerk will also handle employee inquiries related to payroll and assist with benefits administration.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR : * Payroll Processing : Accurately process bi-weekly / monthly payroll for all dealership employees, including hourly and salaried staff.

• Data Management : Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
• Timekeeping : Verify and process employee time records, ensuring proper approval and accurate reporting of hours worked.
• Wage Calculation : Calculate and process overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other forms of compensation.* Deductions : Manage deductions such as taxes, insurance premiums, retirement contributions, and other withholdings.
• Compliance : Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and dealership policies.
• Reporting : Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, including summaries of payroll expenditures, tax liabilities, and deductions.
• Employee Assistance : Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax forms, and deductions, and resolve any payroll-related issues.
• Benefits Coordination : Assist with benefits administration, including enrolling employees in health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits programs.
• Record Keeping : Maintain confidential payroll records and ensure the accuracy and security of employee information.* Audits : Assist with internal and external payroll audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE : * Education : High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.

Experience : 1-2 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a dealership or automotive industry.* Skills : * Proficiency in payroll software (e.

g., ADP, Paylocity, QuickBooks).* Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
