PositionOverview :

The CommercialSales Consultant is responsible for building the client brandwithin the commercial industry as the premier choice for window anddoor solutions.

Achieve individual sales goals through a confidentpresentation of unique perspectives on how customers can grow thebusiness product offerings.

Provide profitable market solutionstechnical expertise and partnership by understanding customer needsand developing businesspartner relationships with architectsbuilders contractors and commercial organizations.

Proactivelyoriginates new customer relationships through networking referralsand facetoface meetings. Help customers grow their business andoffer a single point of contact for their ongoing needs.

Continually strives for 100% Very Satisfied customers growth asmeasured by market share / net sales andprofitability.

The Commercial Sales Consultant s(CSC) primary duty is outside sales within their assigned market.The CSC is requiredto :

  • Spend over 50% of theirtime developing new business through prospecting activities as wellas generating account growth with planned qualitymeetings.
  • Independently set theirown work hours including evenings as necessitated byproject.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities / Accountabilities :

  • Prospectingand securing new business towards achieving individual sales andcustomer satisfaction goals andobjectives.
  • Generating growth withinexisting accounts by creating trust and developing long standingpartnerships that promote thebrand.
  • Actively network andrepresentat architecture / design firms professional groupsinvitations commercial association meetings and / or builder homeshows to discuss and / or position products for specification inbuilding plans.
  • Engaging in aconsultative sales approach to recommend the fenestration solutionsthat influences the buying needs of thecustomer.
  • Leveraging other teammembers / departments to assist with specific productrequirements.
  • Ensuring quotes andorders are accurate and in accordance with companyprocess.
  • Responding to customerconcerns and coordinating resources to resolve issues whilestriving for firsttimeresolution.
  • Maintaining anexceptional level of expertise on products / services relating tocustomers while staying abreast of the competitive landscape andcommercial building codes.
  • Educatingcustomers on manufacturer installation guidelines and measuring ofopenings to ensure accuracy of product ordering andapplications.
  • Thanking clients andencourage a continuing business partnership
  • Collaborating with Operations teamsto ensure successful after sale service requirements andinstallations.
  • Interacting withAccount Receivable department to address any potentialbilling / payment issues.
  • Strong CRMsystems tools capabilities leveraged to manage all customerinteractions and proactively communicate withcustomers.

  • Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice and smart devices and ability to learn internal softwareprograms andapplications

Education and / orExperience

Bachelor s degreefrom four year college or university; or two to four years relatedexperience including commercial sales and technical productexpertise or equivalent combination of education andexperience / expertise.

Individual s motor vehicle record must alsocomply with company requirements. Must have the ability to managemultipletasks in an environment of constant interruptions and beable to prioritize responsibilities.

Language and CommunicationSkills

Ability to read andanalyze documents related to contracts and work documents. Abilityto write reports and business correspondence.

Ability to verballypresent information and respond to questions from customersmanagers and the general public.

ProfessionalSkills

Must present a cleanand neat physical appearance and strictly abide by company dresscode serving as a role model for other employees customer andvisitors.

ReasoningAbilities

Ability to solvepractical and arithmetic problems and deal with a variety ofconcrete variables in situations where only limited standardizationexists.
