Licensed Clinical Psychologist

River Academy of Excellence is a private academic school, providing services to students in grades K-8. We are committed to providing innovative, individualized, and empowering education to meet the unique needs of each and every student.

The Academy is hiring a part-time Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated team of individuals! This position has the potential to grow to a full-time position, with the addition of clinic work at River Therapies, seeing clients from the community.

Your role would be to provide evaluations for diagnoses and complete reports for children and teenagers. You would also provide oversight and direction to a counseling team.

As a member of our River Academy of Excellence team, you will work with other therapeutic staff, teachers, family members, school district personnel, and report to our administration staff.

What You Will Do : provide evaluations and required documentation for diagnostic purposes complete daily documentation provide oversight and direction to our counseling team maintain communication with families and staff for the betterment of each student regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success promote a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for students and families What You Will Bring : Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials / skills : Clinical Psychology degree and license licensed in Pennsylvania experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and challenging behaviors excellent communication skills professional and positive work ethic Interns are welcome to apply! Supervision will be provided.
