Objective
The Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting the VP of Consumer and VP of Business / Commercial Marketing in the execution of marketing strategies to achieve business goals and build brand awareness.
Specifically, the associate marketing manager will provide tactical and executional support including campaign management, daily administration, planning, reporting and vendor management for all Firstrust Bank brand and digital campaign initiatives.
This position manages and communicates end-to-end initiatives with internal and external stakeholders in order to set delivery expectations.
Responsibilities / Duties
Assists in the development of new business for Firstrust. Is alert to expressed customer / prospect needs to suggest appropriate services.
Directs customers to the appropriate person to open account. Actively sells and promotes corporate products to potential and existing customers.
Possesses knowledge of corporate products and services to suggest products.
- Organizes and serves as project manager for all campaign development and project execution for the Consumer and Business / Commercial businesses, inclusive of sports marketing efforts related to Official Bank of the Eagles.
- Writes compelling copy for website, email, online banking, sales collateral, and other channels that communicates our brand proposition and engages customers and prospects.
Content will span acquisition, engagement, and servicing materials.
- Maintains deep product knowledge of Firstrust consumer and business products and services.
- Work with digital team and content originators (writers, agency partners, sports partners) to bring consistent monthly content to our social channels that meets the business goals of the team.
- Submit brand materials through proper legal, compliance and ensure accurate and compliant materials are executed and documented;
maintain centralized product marketing collateral compliance records for compliance audit and periodic reference.
Create and manage campaigns within Salesforce, including reporting campaign performance, and making recommendations for campaign enhancements
Essential Functions
While performing the essential functions of this position, the incumbent is subject to sedentary work for extended periods of time.
Some amount of mobility in order to access files and attend meetings is necessary. The incumbent must be able to operate computer terminal and office equipment and communicate and exchange information to internal and external customers.
Knowledge - Skills & Abilities
- BS / BA preferred, degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years marketing experience
- Experience in project coordination / management, working in financial services marketing or related industry.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Very strong creative writing and storytelling skills
- Must be highly organized and results driven.
- Strong presentation, communication, and organization skills
- Able to solve problems independently, and work effectively as part of a team
