About the Role : This role is an entry level, hourly role.

The HSES Coordinator reports into the onsite Safety Manager & is responsible for supporting a safe working environment for all employees by implementing & maintaining health & safety standards.

This role involves, but is not limited to, conducting safety inspections, monitoring compliance with OSHA & local regulations, upholding security expectations for the facility & promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.

What Youll Do :

  • Safety Inspections & Audits :
  • Conduct regular safety inspections & audits of the facility to identify potential hazards.
  • Document findings & follow up on corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Compliance :
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA & other relevant health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain & update safety policies & procedures to comply with federal, state, & local regulations.
  • Training & Education :
  • Develop & deliver safety training programs for employees.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions focusing on health & safety practices.
  • Incident Investigation :
  • Respond to & investigate accidents, injuries, & near-miss incidents.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents & recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Emergency Preparedness :
  • Assist in developing & maintaining emergency response plans.
  • Coordinate emergency drills & ensure all employees are trained on emergency procedures.
  • Health & Safety Programs :
  • Participate in the development & implementation of health & safety programs & initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety through regular communication, training, & engagement activities.
  • Record Keeping :
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training, & compliance documentation.
  • Prepare reports & metrics to track safety performance & identify areas for improvement.

About You :

  • Strong attention to detail & observational skills.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct effective training sessions & presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish strongly preferred.

Working Conditions :

  • This role is an entry level, hourly role.
  • Role is based in our Secaucus, New Jersey Fulfillment Center.
  • May require working irregular hours, including evenings & weekends, to address safety concerns or incidents.
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday
