Material Logistics Operator - Saxonburg - night shift
Material Logistics Operator I M4 -Night Shift (6pm-6am)

Our Saxonburg, PA location operates on a Rotating Shift schedule, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off then 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on rotating.
36 hours 1 week, 48 hours the other. so that neans that there are 8 hours of OT every other week. Pay is $21.00 per hour. This position also has a $2.00 per hour shift differential. This position also has up to a 5% yearly bonus.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Material Logistics Operator I, are to :
- Drive a tractor trailer and transport raw material and finished goods based on network needs;
- Complete paperwork to ensure PA DOT compliance;
- Work with receiving / shipping team on daily activities and trucking plan;
- Have an advanced understanding of multiple warehouse and materials functions;
- Follow of all documented processes and procedures;
- Perform the physical transport of materials and timely and accurate completion for all required SAP transactions using appropriate PPE and material handling equipment;
- Finish product packaging using visual work instructions according to all regulatory requirements;
- Complete of all required transactional steps to receive and ship material;
- Identify, define and implement process improvement or cost savings activities.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following :
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED;
- Must be at least 23 years of age;
- At least one year of experience in materials, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain;
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications;
- Ability to operate independently;
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work in team environment;
- SAP proficiency in daily transactions in one primary logistic function;
