Responsibilities

Lead the assessment, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of programs, projects, or operations in all areas of case management and utilization review.

Establish operations standards and policies for case management and utilization review.

Collaborate with system-wide physician advisor, lead initiatives for improvement in safety, quality, cost, and delivery of services to include readmission reductions, length of stay management, level of care management and utilization review.

Oversee operations budget for areas of responsibility to ensure compliance with organizational fiscal requirements and goals.

Set standards for post-acute accountable relationships to support care delivery across the continuum of care.

Set the standard of staff development with respect to case management, utilization review and social work, utilizing available system-wide programs.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

Required Credential :

Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing required. Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.

Work Experience :

5 years of experience required.

10 years of experience preferred.

2 years of leadership or management experience required.

5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
