Position : Adjunct Faculty - Intensive English Program (IEP)
Qualifications : Prior experience in TESOL or language education necessary; Master's degree in TESOL or related field preferred.
Responsibilities : The IEP is a multi-ethnic, multinational organization with a staff and student body whose native cultures span five continents and over 25 countries.
All instructors serve as a part of the IEP faculty for the duration of their contracts. Responsibilities include :
- Teaching a minimum of one class 2-4 days a week in person
- Requisite preparation and grading
- Assisting with final assessments and reporting
- Participating in IEP-wide activities
- Attend required faculty meetings
- Other responsibilities loaded in with contract
Position Details : This is an adjunct position. Faculty are contracted per semester hour loading for the time in which they are employed by EMU.
Appointment Date : Fall term classes begin on August 28, 2024
