SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Line Lead for a large distribution center located in Allen, TX. The Line Lead will supervise daily operations of the warehouse including receiving incoming shipments, sorting & transferring materials, and preparing shipments for outbound delivery.
The successful applicant will maintain display high levels of professionalism, lead and develop a team of warehouse associates, and maintain constant communication with warehouse leadership at all times.
The Line Lead will be required to meet key performance metrics as well as manage team to hit KPIs. This person will work together with other departments and management to maximize productivity in the facility, ensure associates receive proper training and mentorship, and manage hiring / scheduling to ensure that team is properly staffed at all times.

Available shifts include Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities of the Line Lead :
- Lead and oversee the manufacturing process of fiber optic products, ensuring adherence to quality standards, production schedules, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization, to meet production targets and customer requirements.
- Train and mentor production team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics, to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and drive cost savings in the manufacturing process.
- Monitor production metrics and performance indicators, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Perform hands-on assembly and installation of fiber optic cables according to industry standards and specifications.
- Ensure proper termination, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cables to maintain optimal performance.
Preferred Qualifications of the Line Lead :
- Proven experience in fiber optic cable assembly and installation, with at least X years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of fiber optic cable types, connectors, splicing techniques, and testing procedures.
- Proficiency in using fiber optic testing equipment and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
