As an Application Support Engineer, you will work closely with numerous business critical Teams, supporting our Products and Services throughout the different stages of the site’s lifecycle.
An excitingly broad and ever-changing scope facing many different complex issues. Numerous Teams will turn to you when there is a problem that needs to be troubleshot and solved.
You will work with all levels of Software, Integration, Field-ops and Network Teams to identify, correct, and resolve any and all issues that come our way.
Major Job Responsibilities
Handle software deployments
Test in production after deployment
Level 2 support (debugging, troubleshooting, RCA)
Documentation, managing and maintaining JIRA tickets
Continuous process improvement
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum of six years work experience in Software or Application Support Engineering roles
Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering, or additional related work experience
Track record of excellent Customer Service under high pressure
Experience in industries and areas that can bring value to the clean energy space
Familiarity with both traditional software and cloud computing
Technology Requirements
Linux Environment and Docker Interfaces
Deployment Tools such as Ansible
SEL (RTAC and 735) Software and Troubleshooting
Database interfaces and creating internal and external APIs
MODBUS and DNP3 Protocols
Network Skills and general analyzing skills with Wireshark
Proficiency navigating GitHub
