The Strategic Sales Director is responsible for revenue generation on a major new industry platform focused on one of the most exciting communications technologies of all time : cloud infrastructure.
This position can be remote if located in the Eastern Time Zone.
- Achieves fiscal year revenue and business goals for the assigned territory involving the launch of the new Cloud Infrastructure offerings under the Silver Linings brand (media, virtual events, live events, custom solutions).
- Employs proven account management practices to serve the client, including account planning, client procurement, meeting follow-up, pipeline development, opportunity pursuit, contract negotiation, risk management, proposal and Statement of Work development, and revenue attainment.
- Develops relationships with the top prospects in the Cloud Infrastructure market and identifies growth accounts with strategic development potential within the market.
- Nurtures relationships with Senior Client Leaders, particularly C-level and other key executives, decision makers, and other client influencers.
- Utilizes deep client knowledge and relationships to promote solutions with key client decision makers.
- Builds sufficient pipeline of opportunities with the client to achieve client service revenue plan.
- Leads the pursuit of opportunities, proposal development / presentation, and risk management.
- Serves as the primary face of the company to the client and takes responsibility for client satisfaction.
- Strives to exceed expectations with every client with the goal that every client is willing to serve as a high-quality reference for the company.
- Provides feedback to leadership on market opportunities, areas for investment, and quality growth initiatives.
- Works closely with colleagues in the Technology team to share best practices and ensure maximum revenue potential for any crossover accounts between Fierce Telecom / Wireless and other technology brands.
- Contributes to building and implementing a best of breed go-to-market infrastructure for the market, helping to set standards and share knowledge, methods, and best practices.
