SUMMARY OF POSITION :
Responsible for administering advanced life support care on 911 emergency incidents and during transportation of patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :
- Current certification as a Paramedic or PHRN in the Commonwealth of PA or eligible for and completion of reciprocity process, if certified in another state.Ã Â
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.Ã Â
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.Ã Â
- Valid Driver's license or eligible for a Commonwealth of PA driver's license if out of state.Ã Â
- PA DOH EMSVO certification within 30 days of start date.Ã Â
- HazMat Awareness Training and NIMS (100, 200, 700, 800) required within 30 days of start date.Ã Â
- Must obtain Medical Command within 90 days of start date.
