Process Coordinator I
What this Job Entails :
Supports process improvement efforts designed to improve efficiency, decrease costs and improve quality of work.
Scope :
This position supports projects under higher level Process Improvement personnel.
Your Roles and Responsibilities :
Interview process subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand how their processes work.
Listen to needs of the business partner and consider those needs by asking probing questions until the real need is surfaced and understood.
Document information elicited using analytical tools and techniques such as spreadsheets, pareto charts and process maps.
Read and interpret process data
Participate in process re-engineering efforts.
Facilitate process working sessions.
Complete other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications / Skills :
Bachelor’s degree, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and / or work experience
Strong listening skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Experience handling multiple tasks and working under time constraints in support of various assignments
Preferred Qualifications :
Certified Six Sigma or Lean
Self-motivated
Results-driven
Ability to apply an understanding of how processes should work
Ability to forge strong relationships with business stakeholders and colleagues
Physical Demand & Work Environment :
Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Must be able to use a computer
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers
Salary Range
$18.77 - $25.59 USD (Hourly)
