Our client company, a leading Commercial Construction General Contractor, is seeking a talented Construction Estimator to join their dynamic team.

Estimator Responsibilities :

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects
• Conduct detailed analyses of project specifications, blueprints, and drawings
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
• Select the most cost-effective materials and methods for each project
• Create comprehensive bid packages and submit proposals to clients

Estimator Essential Job Functions :

• Utilize your sharp analytical skills to evaluate project plans and specifications
• Apply your deep knowledge of construction materials and methods to determine accurate cost estimates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather the necessary information for thorough bid proposals
• Think outside the box to find creative solutions that optimize costs without compromising quality
• Use your excellent communication skills to maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members

Estimator Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating (senior level experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and codes
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
