Note : - This is not a remote job. It's an onsite role in Kent, WA.
Position : Inspector III A
Location : Kent, WA
Duration : 6 months to start with
Shift : A Shift : 5am-3 : 30pm M-Th
Responsibilities :
- Perform detailed inspection of Engines structural, electrical, and mechanical assemblies and systems using CAD models and Blueprints.
- Verify Assemblies for conformance against engineering requirements.
- Document nonconformance's in accordance with internal procedures and over communication to resolve quality issues.
- Experience with Precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
- Experience with final photo documentation of hardware.
- Experience with hardware containment related to non-conformances and notices of escape from suppliers.
- Perform close out, first article, in-process & final inspections.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 5+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military, or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency working with nonconformance systems.
- Competence in Blueprint reading skills and 3D model.
- Experience with performing electronic and mechanical testing and inspections using portable measuring devices.
- Proficient in inspecting tight tolerance, high value flight vehicles and systems.
- Familiar with the use of personal computers.
- Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.
S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and / or weekends as needed.
- Ease with climbing ladders, stooping, bending, crawling, and mobility while working within tight spaces!
Desired :
- Airframe & Power-plant certificate (A&P) or ASQ CQA
- Experience working with aerospace propulsion assembly installation and testing processes and procedures.
- Practical experience working within quality management systems (AS9100 and ISO 9001)
- Strong understanding of safety programs and OSHA regulations and requirements.
