Summary : Seeking a CNC Milling Machinist with experience in programming and operating multi-axis machine tools.
Job Requirements :
4+ years of relevant CNC Machining experience
Advanced understanding of lathe, drill press, milling machine operations, blueprint reading, and project layout
Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in various forms
Proficiency in calculating and understanding units of measure, including fractions and decimals
Knowledge of measuring using a scale and tape measure
Ability to wear applicable PPE (Hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, steel toes shoes, ear protection, respirator when necessary)
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Unigraphics, Power-Mill, and / or MasterCam Computer Aided Manufacturing software
Job Responsibilities :
Program three, four, and five axis machine tools
Set up and operate CNC milling centers with multi-axis capabilities
Operate conventional machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, band saws
Select proper tooling, jigs, fixtures for machining tasks
Set references for machine including all 5 axis moves within the program
Verify part setup for proper clearance between machine spindle and table
Pay Details : $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
