job_description.job_card.job_descriptionVerify patient eligibility with insurance as needed, maintain an open line of communication with all insurance carriers, including follow-up, denials, and appeals Post, review, bill, and analyze superbills from providers to ensure accuracy in ICD / CPT codes, as per billing guidelines Posting EOB payment batches and balancing payment report Follow-up on all unpaid insurance claims and patient balances Perform general clerical duties : data entry, file preparation, scanning, faxing, mailing patient statements, answering phone calls High school diploma or GED equivalent Proficient in computer and electronic billing systems Previous medical billing experience, specializing in primary care billing a plus You have coding certificates, such as CCS, CPC, and CRC Medical billing course certificate Our organization follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and remote work on other days. The office is located at 1668 S. Garfield Ave. 2nd Floor, Alhambra, CA 91801. The total compensation target pay rate for this role is : $20.00 - $22.00 / hr. The pay range represents our national target range for this role.
