Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team . This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in financial reporting, month-end close, and journal entries in a sector that truly makes a difference. A

Responsibilities :

As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include but are not limited to :

1. Overseeing the month-end close process including, preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.

2. Analyzing and reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts.

3. Prepare and review Form 10-Q, 10-K, and quarterly earnings releases, including financial statements (balance sheet and income statement), footnote disclosures, and management discussion and analysis (MD&A).

4. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

5. Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations.

6. Assisting with various audits and special projects as needed.

7. Collaborating with other departments to improve financial procedures, and streamline and automate processes.

8. Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications :

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally public / private mix
