Duties & Responsibilities as assigned to Contractor :

• Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions,
• enhancements, and forms (RICEF) in the PM, SM and PS modules of SAP.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather
• requirements, analyze business processes, and propose technical solutions.
• Design and implement custom functionalities, user exits, and enhancements tooptimize SAP system performance and meet business objectives.
• Perform complex debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP programs to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Develop and maintain interfaces using IDOCs for seamless integration between SAP and external systems.

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP S / 4HANA to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms ( RICEF ) specifically in the PM (Plant Maintenance), SM (Service Management), and PS (Project Systems) modules of SAP.

You will work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and provide robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• ABAP Development : Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) within the PM, SM, and PS modules of SAP.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose technical solutions that align with business objectives.
• Custom Functionalities : Design and implement custom functionalities, user exits, and enhancements to optimize SAP system performance.
• Troubleshooting : Perform complex debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP programs to efficiently identify and resolve issues.
• Interface Development : Develop and maintain interfaces using IDOCs for seamless integration between SAP and external systems.
• Technical Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all developments and enhancements.
• Performance Optimization : Continuously work on optimizing existing code and processes to enhance system performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, specifically within the PM, SM, and PS modules.
• Technical Expertise :
• Strong expertise in ABAP programming, including RICEF development in the specified SAP modules.
• Proficient in developing and maintaining IDOCs for system integration.
• Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of ABAP code.
• Familiarity with SAP enhancement frameworks such as User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Points.
• Soft Skills :
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with SAP S / 4HANA is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
