Overview :

PawsPik Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing Manager in executing marketing strategies, campaigns, and projects.

As part of our team, you will help grow our brand's presence across various platforms, assist with customer service, participate in trade shows, and contribute to sales efforts such as outreach to local pet stores.

This is an on-site position based in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns across digital and social channels.
• Monitor social media accounts, respond to customer inquiries, and engage with our community.
• Provide customer service support by responding to emails and resolving customer issues.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
• Help manage email marketing campaigns, including drafting, scheduling, and reporting.
• Support in the creation and editing of marketing content such as blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on product launches, sales promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
• Analyze campaign performance and prepare reports to measure effectiveness.
• Assist in coordinating and attending trade shows, product demos, and other promotional events.
• Conduct outreach to local pet stores through email and phone calls to establish and build relationships.
• Maintain and organize marketing files, databases, and assets.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and marketing tools like Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or Google Analytics.
• Basic sales skills with comfort in emailing and calling local businesses.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for pet products and interest in the e-commerce industry is a plus.
