Job Description
An employer is seeking an Senior IT Project Manager to join their team remotely in Eastern Standard Time. This is open because the client is in need of a Sr IT Project Manager who can help take various project concepts and formalize the right tactical project plan to drive this company mission forward.
This Sr IT PM will be dedicated to the company's Service Categories, which includes three major portals. The goal of these portals is to enable internal and external users to provide a streamlined way to find necessary information related to health, business, and jobs, across all executive agencies in the state.
The Sr IT PM will work closely across agency personnel, executive stakeholders, a designated Product Owner, and Project Sponsor.
It is key to understand the varying needs for all of the agencies in order to create a tactical project plan that will enable this website portal the necessary functionality to meet all business needs.
This is a high visibility effort and will require the skills of a seasoned PM who is able to lead large scale projects and lead the project delivery side while adhering to budget and timeline.
This will be an ongoing effort, as the Service Categories will continue to evolve as needs of the agencies and departments may change, so we are looking for someone that is adaptable and learns quickly.
They will need to be able to take initiative on their own, should be able to multi-task and be able to switch gears quickly.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager
Supported large scale complex projects from concept design through project completion
Previously supporting IT projects based off websites or website portals
Worked closely with a Product Owner and high-level stakeholders to understand various facets of requirements and needs
Technical background with MS Office Suite including Excel, MS Project, or related technologies
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Salesforce
Experience with Sitecore
Previously worked for the public sector
