Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metrology Technician to join our team. As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our measuring instruments and equipment.
This is a crucial role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our products. If you have a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
- Calibrate precision measuring instruments and equipment according to established standards
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on measuring instruments
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meets specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with measuring instruments
- Fabricate or modify fixtures to support measurement processes
- Collaborate with other departments to address quality control concerns
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills :
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and equipment
- Experience in field service or industrial maintenance is preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems and high voltage is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset
