Architectural / Ornamental Project Estimator
Interior Metals is seeking seasoned, highly skilled, motivated architectural / ornamental metal Project Estimator to join our growing team.
At Interior Metals we fabricate and install various types of architectural / ornamental metal projects in the commercial and high end residential market.
Our current market concentration is focused in the NY / NJ / CT. All candidates applying must have a minimum of 3 years working in ornamental and architectural design and fabrications, ferrous / non ferrous material works, architectural and ornamental estimating and take offs.
All candidates should have interior architecture experience with a focus on luxury retail, high end residential, commercial interiors and exteriors, hospitality interiors and exteriors and public work.

- Applicants for Estimator should have the following experience;
- Must be able to read and decipher shop drawings and blue prints as well as the ability to produce and devise more cost effective methods for concise estimating
- 2 years’ experience in the public work sector and public bidding forum
- Clearly delineate scope of work through project specification evaluation
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management in the architectural ornamental field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in estimating and take off management for architectural and ornamental projects
- Have minimum 3 years’ experience in the residential, commercial and industrial construction field more specifically in the NY metro area
- Experience in material sourcing and buy outs
- Proficient in Microsoft office and excel
- Able to attend bid walk throughs and site meetings
