Job Summary :
The Account Manager will provide direct support to the Producer in all aspects of service and related needs. In addition, answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information.
Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload to meet and exceed client’s expectations and business needs.
This position requires a high level of decision-making ability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Serves as the Face of the Account and makes daily decisions with the producer
- Serves as day to day contact for book of clients
- Provides client support to more complex clients under the guidance of the Director Of Account Manager and Producer
- Responsible for open enrollment materials, presentations and coordination of enrollment process
- Collaborates with marketing and quoting department for annual renewal presentations, marketing process and quoting needs
- Manages new carrier and plan implementation including benefits administration and HRIS system needs
- Manages escalated claims and coverage issue resolution for client
- Schedules and coordinates internal and external meetings
- Prepares 5500 with CPA and client
- Solves data discrepancies between systems
- Conduct on-site client open enrollment meetings

Education and Experience :
Required : High School graduate or GED; One year of related experience
Preferred : Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; Two years of related experience and / or training
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Required : Valid Driver’s License, California Life and Health License
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Some travel is required to visit clients to conduct open enrollment meetings.
