We arelooking for a dedicated Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant tojoin our team in Petoskey, MI. This position involves a unique schedule of 10consecutive days of concurrent night and day shifts per month.
The roleincludes an 8-hour on-site, inpatient shift followed by on-call coverage forthe remainder of the day.
As aCardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner, your primary responsibility will beto provide comprehensive inpatient care.
This includes supporting surgeries inthe operating room, conducting hospital rounds (including ICU), and beingavailable for on-call duties.
Vein harvesting is a required procedure for thisrole, emphasizing your critical involvement in cardiovascular and thoracicsurgical procedures.
Qualifications :
- Board Certified as a Physician Assistant.
- Active Michigan state license; not accepting IMLC.
- Required COVID-19 vaccination.
- Preferredexperience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgery, including ICU experience.
