JOB SUMMARY
The Credit Specialist is responsible for supporting the Credit Department in a variety of daily functions. The position will serve as liaison between the Lending Team and Loan Operations while coordinating exception, financial, and collateral tracking.
The Credit Specialist will also assist in basic financial analysis and credit memorandum preparation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that credit files are current and complete with required documentation.
- Review new loan files for accuracy and adherence to loan policy (loan checkbacks).
- Complete basic spreads of customer financials and tax returns.
- Manage daily operations within CenterDoc
- Generate and distribute lists to lenders such as lender portfolio and delinquency reports.
- Complete loan compliance reviews on a scheduled basis.
- Responsible for the administration and follow up of Technical Exceptions and Customer Financials reports.
- Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
